Secure Offsite Data Storage

As part of our cloud computing solutions, we can offer you secure offsite data storage. When it comes to your business I.T network, your data is the lifeblood of it all. The data is what feeds your business, and without data, we are blind.

Whether it is your employee records, customer information, or important data about your portfolios, your inventory and so on, data is so valuable in modern business.

This also means that the need to secure your data has never been more important. Data is now more expensive than oil, and there are plenty of cybercriminals out there who can profit off of collecting data.

There’s also a strong chance a lot of your data is sensitive and could be used against you should it fall into the wrong hands. So let’s talk a little bit more about offsite data storage and how you can be sure that you’re being safe with your business data.

Types of Data Storage

Data is stored in a number of different ways. The type of data storage that you are probably most familiar with is the good old-fashioned hard drive. The hard drive is ubiquitous with computers and laptops and is what is known as Direct Attached Storage or DAS.

DAS methods are physical methods of storage in that they usually are stored in something that you can touch with your hands. So a hard drive is an actual physical component of your computer. A USB drive is a form of DAS, and those come in all shapes and sizes.

Away from physical storage, there is what is known as cloud storage. Smartphones and the like have normalised ‘cloud storage’ and most of us are quite familiar with the concept. This is virtual data storage and is not dependent on physical hardware.

Data Storage Cloud Services

Physical data storage, whilst secure in its own way, requires upkeep costs and there are other associated risks.

Our cloud data storage service means you only take up as much as you need, instead of buying more physical storage space than you need to futureproof. It means you can cut down on the equipment needed in the office, saving time and money on housing only the necessary equipment you require.

Our cloud storage solutions work for you and your business, whilst we focus on maintaining it and keeping it secure.

As cyber security consultants, our work is never done. We keep our fingers on the pulse of what is happening with cybercrime and cyber-attacks and adapt our systems so they are always resilient and secured against cyber threats.

We worry about cyber security so you can focus on the business.
